Adam Wachowski
A graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Shipbuilding at Gdansk University of Technology. He started his career very early, as early as in his 1st year of studies with a job as a design engineer at a Polish company in the space sector.
He has 10 years of experience in R&D projects in the space, aerospace, energy and offshore sectors. He was responsible for providing technical consulting services in offshore wind energy for major state-owned companies. Led the execution of a feasibility study of a large-scale low-carbon hydrogen production system for 11 offshore wind farms with a total capacity of 500 MW. Involved in the organization of prototype laboratories at Gdansk University of Technology – ProtoLab 1, ProtoLab 2 and ProtoLab 3. Co-author of an automatic landing system in motion on a docking station for unmanned aerial vehicles. Coordinated the construction of a flight simulator at Gdansk University of Technology. Participated in many projects funded by National Center for Research and Development, NCBR at the management and development level.
As of 2021, director of the R&D department of Energy Market Observer Ltd. (ENMARO) specializing in systems modeling and simulation, development of tools to support decision-making processes and increase automation, analysis of energy storage or conversion systems, and comprehensive consulting and analytics for offshore wind farms across the whole value chain.
Author of patent applications in the national procedure of the Polish Patent Office and in the international PCT procedure.
