A graduate of the Faculty of Navigation at the Gdynia Maritime University and postgraduate studies in corporate finance management at the University of Gdańsk. He started his professional career by working on ships as a watch officer, then he was a port officer at the Harbour Master’s Office in Gdańsk.
Over 25 years associated with the classification society. Involved in supervising the construction and operation of ships and other floating objects in Poland and abroad, as well as formulating technical standards, also in relation to offshore wind farms.
Author of the report “Installation fleet operator, potential of the Polish maritime industry for the needs of offshore wind farms”.
Responsible for the establishment of branches and subsidiaries of PRS, among others in the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, China, Denmark, Turkey.
Former member and President of the Management Board of PRS.
In the years 2013 – 2021 he was a member of the Council of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS), the highest body directing the work of this important association for the global maritime economy.
